Lisa Paz has a Doctorate in Clinical Sexology and is a Board Certified Sex Therapist. She also has a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology – Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Paz is a Board Certified Clinical Sex Therapist and a Liscenced Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Ameican Board of Sexology, the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, the National Association of Professional Women, and Haddassah Womens Organization.
Dr. Paz splits her time between her private practice in Miami, FL and lecturing at the University of Miami where she is adjunct faculty. She also does public speaking at venues throughout Florida. In private counseling Dr. Paz deals with a host of issues that pertain to intimacy and the individual, couple or family – this includes marital conflict, infidelity, fertility issues, communication problems, negative relationships, sexual dysfunctions, desires disorders, compulsive sexuality, sexual abuse, orientation issues, cancer and sexuality and much much more.
Additionally, she is interested in boosting already healthy relationships and helping couples take their sexuality to the next level – in this capacity she functions as a facilitator – coach, offering ideas, techniques, and strategies to maintain or rekindle love affairs.
